L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), a not-for-profit organization, has been providing quality eye care to all for the past 21 years. Now
LVPEI has a network of three tertiary centres in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneswar and 17 secondary care centres all
over Andhra Pradesh. The institute also has a network of 50 primary eye centres situated around the secondary centres in rural
Andhra Pradesh. The institute plans to further expand its facilities and expertise to reach out to many more people who are in need
of quality eye care.
As part of its expansion program, the institute is looking for deserving candidates who would like to be part of the institute's growth
and excel in eye care delivery.
Quality Assurance Manager: Certification or experience in QA in a hospital environment and familiarity with NABH and JCI standards
with 2 to 3 years experience in the relevant field.
Microbiologist: MD Microbiology; Can be fresh
candidates or experienced in diagnostics, teaching and research to work in our
Microbiology laboratory.
Clinical Research Coordinator: B. Pharm or Post-graduate in sciences (M.Sc, PG diploma Microbiology/ genetics/ biochemistry/others), can be fresh candidates or with some experience in clinical research.
Lab Technician: Fresh DMLT candidates interested in working in our research laboratories
Junior Editor: Arts graduate with mass communication or journalism as one the main subjects with good language skills to work in
our communications department. A master's degree in communication or two years experience in editing/content creation would be
an added advantage.
Communication and Documentation Officer: Candidate should be a postgraduate in Communications or English literature with
superior language skills and an interest in community development work. Working knowledge of Telugu would be an advantage. Will
be required to prepare, edit and produce reports, course material and other documents for LVPEI's community eye health unit as well
as provide support to health promotion activities and manage the documentation needs of the rural eye care projects.
Webmaster: Diploma in Web designing preferably with a couple of years' experience will be required to handle the institute's web site.
Video Editor: For our Audio-Visual Unit - Minimum three years experience in non-linear video editing, including special effects, audio
recording, graphics and logging, with interest in making medical education films
Audio Visual Technician: Intermediate (Vocational - Electronics) and ITI Electronics can be fresh candidates or with some experience
Human Resource Supervisor: Graduate with two years experience in HR Administration
Academic Coordinator: Graduate/ postgraduate with administrative skills and knowledge of computers to work at our Education
Centre.
Patient Counselors and Receptionists: Fresh intermediate/ graduate candidates with good computer skills and communication
skills in English, Hindi and Telugu required working with patients in our patient care departments.
Facilitators: SSC candidates with good communication skills in English, Hindi and Telugu required to work in our patient care
departments.
Nurse Tutor (female): The candidate should have completed her BSc nursing with a minimum of three to four years of experience
in teaching form a reputed hospital. Should have good communication skills and knowledge of computers.
Will be required to train our student nurses.
Nurses: Fresh ANMs/GNMs for Operation Theatre and Inpatient Wards of our Institute
Accountants and Accounts Assistants: BCom and/or MCom fresh candidates and those with 3 to 5 years experience to work in
our accounts department.
Senior Secretary/ Secretaries: Graduates/ Intermediate candidates to work in the doctor's office with good computer skills and
knowledge of English, Hindi and Telugu. Those with experience would be considered for senior secretary positions. All secretaries will
work with our doctors and administrators.
Assistant Librarian: Fresh graduate with good communication and computer skills
Purchase/ Stores/ Medical Records Dept Assistants: Fresh Intermediate/ graduates with computer skills to work as general assistants
in these departments.
Telephone Operator: Fresh SSC/Intermediate with good communication skills in English, Hindi and Telugu
Cook: Diploma in Catering Technology for cooking and managing kitchen staff or with 3 years of relevant experience.
