True to our motto ‘So that all may See', LVPEI’s EyeHEP - Health Education Program, is a unique program, and probably also a first-of-its-kind. Through a gamut of well-crafted education programs, designed to converge all eye health professionals in a week-long process of learning and knowledge sharing, it provides knowledge through scientific evidence.
EyeOEP – Optometry Education Program, is an important module of this program and aims to play a catalytic role in the Indian optometry education. It covers core optometry curriculum to enhance and supplement the current understanding of students and practitioners in the field of optometry and vision science.
This unique program uses active learning concepts as pedagogy to ensure full engagement of the participants and covers relevant topics in form of clinical pearls. Thus, offering an avenue to optometry graduates to explore their full potential. It also has the element of ‘learn while you play’, and includes engaging word puzzle contests and quiz competitions.
