The Liberia Eye Centre has been awarded as the 'Best Executed Project' by the Lions Club International Foundation among the various projects supported by LCIF in West Africa.

Dr Anil K Mandal: Honoured with the 'Seva Ratna Award 2022' presented by the Mother (Teresa) Foundation in recognition of his services for societal development.

Dr Subhadra Jalali: Delivered the Dr P B Menon Oration Lecture at the annual meeting organized by the Kozhikode Ophthalmic Society and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Kozhikode.

Dr Sanchita Mitra: Awarded the Science and Engineering Research Board-Start up Research Grant for the project - Harnessing polymicrobial interactions to tackle antimicrobial resistance: an ex-vivo study in human cornea model.

Dr PremNandhini Satgunam: Invited as Academic Editor to PLOS ONE Journal.

Agimanailiu K (Mentor Dr Joveeta Joseph): Awarded the Lady Tata Memorial Trust – Junior Research Fellowship.

Dr Lalit Kishore Ahirwar (mentor - Dr Savitri Sharma): Awarded PhD by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal Karnataka for research into “Investigation of corneal infection by Pythium insidiosum: host immune response, susceptibility to antimicrobial drugs and comparative genomics to study mechanisms of pathogenesis.

Mr Saurabh Kumar (Mentor - Dr Inderjeet Kaur): Awarded the ‘iROP Society Excellence Grant’ for presenting his research work at the 5^th World ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity) Society Congress, to be held from 1-4 September 2022 in Dubai.
