LVPEI celebrated its 36th Foundation Day on 17 October 2022. Sri Kode Durga Prasad, IPS (Retd.), Former Director General, Central Reserve Police Force & Former Director, Special Protection Group was the Chief Guest for the event.
Prof Krothapalli Ravindranath LVPEI Research Excellence Awards instituted last year on the 35th Foundation Day were presented to Ms Priyasha Mishra in Basic Science Category and to Dr Mariya Bashir Doctor in Clinical Science category.
The inaugural Prof Krothapalli Ravindranath LVPEI International Travel Award 2022 was awarded to Dr Ayushi Agarwal in Clinical Research category and Dr Tarandeep Kaur in Basic Science category.
A blood donation drive was also organized at LVPEI’s Hyderabad campus in collaboration with the NTR Trust. 180 units of blood was collected in support children with eye cancer and non-paying patients at LVPEI.
