At the 6th Retina Summit and 8th Indian Retinopathy of Prematurity (IROP) Annual Meeting, held at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, from July 11 to 13, 2024:
Dr Tapas Ranjan Padhi:
- Conducted a workshop on ROP.
- Delivered a lecture on 'Atypical ROP.'
Dr Subhadra Jalali:
- Delivered an invited talk on the 'Management of Life-threatening Situations during ROP Treatment.'
Dr Utsav Shah (vitreoretinal fellow) and Dr Tapas Ranjan Padhi:
- Presented the paper 'Outcome of Serial Evaluation of Fundi of Preterm Babies from Birth till the Development of ROP,' which won the best paper award.
Dr Madhusmita Mahapatra:
- Gave an oral presentation on the 'Trend in Incidence and Treatment of Type and Aggressive Retinopathy of Prematurity (A-ROP): Experience from Eastern India (8 years).'
Dr Sameera Nayak:
- Presented an e-poster on Universal Newborn Eye Screening, winning the best e-poster award.
