Every year, LVPEI organizes a blood donation drive to mark the anniversary of the Institute on June 1, and on October 17, the foundation day to make the celebrations more meaningful. This year as well to mark the institute's 36th anniversary celebrations, the blood donation drive was organized on 1 June 2023 at the Hyderabad campus in collaboration with the NTR Trust.
150 units of blood were collected in support of children with eye cancer, Retinoblastoma & for non-paying patients at LVPEI.
