The second edition of 'Bug Busters - Corneal Infection Workshop' was organized from 18-20 October 2019 at LVPEI's Hyderabad campus. The workshop was packaged with sessions on cutting edge diagnostic and therapeutic modalities and uncommon corneal infections, ulcer rounds, microbiological & pathology skill-transfer course, sessions on surgical demonstrations and surgical pearls on basics to advanced surgical procedures, abstract presentations in form of paper, poster and videos, and high intensive case-based discussions. 150 delegates (including participation through webinar) and a team of 70 national and international faculty including LVPEI faculty, participated in the workshop. In addition to the highly esteemed national faculty, it also had Dr Deepak Shukla, Director, Ocular Virology Lab, The University of Illinois at Chicago and Dr Jennifer Rose-Nussbaumer, Professor of Ophthalmology, The Francis I. Proctor Foundation for Research in Ophthalmology, USA. It also had live webinar sessions from stalwarts such as Dr John K G Dart and Dr Todd Margolis.
