At the 3rd Biennial World Conference organized by the International Society of Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgeons (ISMSICS) from 29 November - 1 December 2019 at Kolkata, Dr Jagadesh Reddy:
- Received the best paper award for his paper titled 'Ocular biometry characteristics of patients presenting for cataract surgery'
- Delivered the keynote lecture on 'Validation of new artificial intelligence-based intraocular lens power prediction formula'. It is an innovative method developed in-house (first-of-its-kind in India) for calculating intraocular lens power with more precision, thus leading to better outcomes in cataract surgeries.
