Dr Trupti R Agrawal and Dr Divya A Pidishetty, both mentored by Dr Indumathi Mariappan, have been awarded PhDs by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal.
Dr Agrawal’s research explored retinoblastoma development and early molecular changes following RB1 inactivation in retinal progenitors, while Dr Pidishetty’s work focused on modelling retinal developmental anomalies using zebrafish and induced pluripotent stem cells.
