Dr Vivek Dave has been accepted as a member of the Club Jules Gonin, a group of august ophthalmologists from around the world who deliberate on the intricacies of vitreoretinal surgeries and their advances once every two years. Membership and continuity are determined by a rigorous selection process, with only around 300 members at any given time over the club's 65-year history.
