A 2-day long Glaucoma Preceptorship Program was organized at LVPEI Hyderabad from 20-21 July 2019. Delegates from Sudan, Kenya, Ethiopia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Uganda and South Africa participated in this highly interactive program. Several of them were practicing glaucoma specialists and some were general ophthalmologists with special interest in glaucoma.
Basics and advances in glaucoma diagnosis and management including surgical management were covered. The surgical wet lab sessions provided the opportunity to the delegates to practice trabeculectomy and implant surgeries along with their various surgical modifications.
