The LVPEI-managed Liberia Eye Center in Monrovia has launched Liberia’s first-ever nationwide Rapid Assessment of Refractive Errors (RARE). Launched in collaboration with Liberia's Ministry of Health, this initiative aims to generate essential data to guide the planning and development of refractive error services in the country. The project is supported by the Lions Clubs International Foundation's (LCIF) SightFirst Research Grant and LVPEI.
