At the 5th World Congress of Paediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus (WCPOS), held from July 11 to 13 in Malaysia, Dr Ramesh Kekunnaya served on the organizing committee. The event brought together over 1,400 participants from more than 70 countries. LVPEI was well represented, with 20 faculty and fellows participating and earning accolades for their presentations and talks on pertinent topics of paediatric eye care.

Additionally, our alumni, Drs. Mayank Jain and Sakshi Lalwani, won the Best Video and Second Best Poster Awards, respectively.
The cherry on top was the launch of the 'UveApp', developed in-house by the LVPEI Center for Technology Innovation. It is an app designed for patients with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) to help their families assess the risk of developing uveitis.
