LVPEI GMR Varalakshmi Campus, Visakhapatnam, conducted an awareness program on ‘Ocular Trauma Prevention and First Aid’ on February 5, 2025. Dr Mariya Bashir Doctor led the session, educating over 70 participants on the causes, risks, and immediate response for handling common ocular emergencies. Such initiatives are crucial in reducing vision loss due to preventable injuries. Through continuous education and outreach, LVPEI strives to empower communities with knowledge for better eye care and protection.
