Mr Arun Karna, MD and CEO of AT&T Global Network Services India Pvt. Ltd., recently visited LVPEI to discuss the ongoing impact of AT&T-supported projects and explore future collaboration. Since 2016, AT&T has funded over 10,000 complex surgeries for non-paying patients and backed key innovation projects at LVPEI. The AT&T Telemedicine Command Center connects rural Primary Eye Care Centres with experts at LVPEI's tertiary care facilities, delivering advanced ophthalmic care to underserved communities. The next phase will focus on developing the'Clinic E-Diagnostic Device' for home-based eye health screening.
