The LVPEI- Liberia Eye Centre, located at the JFK Medical Center, Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa, has been honoured as the Outstanding Ophthalmic Institute for the year 2022 by the West Africa Media Network (WAMN). The WAMN has also selected Dr Niranjan Pehere as the Outstanding Ophthalmologist for the same year.
The award was presented to Dr Niranjan Pehere on April 24 at the Center by Mr Joseph Wiah, Managing Editor of the WAMN and Director of Communications, National Public Health Institute, Liberia.
