LVPEI's Mithu Tulsi Chanrai Campus, Bhubaneswar, hosted the 14th National Conference on Cornea and Eye Banking by the Eye Banking Association of India (EBAI) on 14-15 September 2024. Inaugurated by Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, the event brought together over 250 ophthalmologists, optometrists, and eye care professionals. Highlights included the announcement of LVPEI's milestone of 50,000 corneal transplants and discussions on corneal surgery, eye donation, and transplantation practices.
