The Manorama Choudhury Nayan Jyoti Vision-Aid CVI Resource Centre was inaugurated at LVPEI’s Mithu Tulsi Chanrai Campus, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on February 19, 2025. Mr Sanyasi Kumar Behera, Deputy Secretary of the Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disability Department (SSEPD), was the guest of honor. Supported by Ms Manorama Choudhury and Vision-Aid (USA) representatives Ms Revathy Ramakrishna and Mr Ramakrishna Raju, this is LVPEI’s third dedicated centre for cortical/cerebral visual impairment (CVI), following the first two in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. The centre aims to enhance the quality of life for children with CVI through early intervention, rehabilitation, and family support, fostering their development and independence.
