The highly sought after American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) annual meeting and subspeciality meetings were attended by around 20 LVPEI faculty. They actively participated in various symposia, instruction courses, paper and poster presentations and discussions, and collectively made 50+ presentations. This led to constructive knowledge sharing and opened up possibilities for future collaborations and partnerships on the global level, specifically for research. The AAO annual meeting this year was held at San Francisco from 11-15 October 2019.
