The Optometry Education Programme (EyeOEP) 2025, with a special focus on training optometry trainers, was conducted at LVPEI’s Brien Holden Institute of Optometry and Vision Sciences, Hyderabad, from 5–8 March 2025. This four-day intensive programme brought together 64 participants from 14 institutes across India. Experts delivered eight insightful sessions covering essential topics such as Pedagogy and Effective Evaluation, Low Vision, Binocular Vision, Refractive Errors, Contact Lenses, Dispensing, Research, and Public Health.
