Dr Umashankar Rout

Umashankar Rout is an alumnus of Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur. He obtained his DNB in anesthesiology from the National Board of Education and his fellowship in critical care medicine from Apollo Hospitals. Dr Umashankar Rout is one of the founding members of the Association of Indian Ophthalmic Anesthesiologists (AIOA). He has published papers on intraocular pressure in international and national journals. His areas of interest are Pediatric Anesthesia, Ophthalmic Anesthesia, troubleshooting in ophthalmic regional blocks and Daycare Anesthesia.
