Asha Latha Mettla

Ms Asha Latha Mettla completed her Master’s in Health Economics and MPhil in Health Systems and Hospital Management and Masters in Community Health and Nutrition. She started her professional career as a lecturer & eventually moved on to join Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad as Clinical Research Administrator. She has also worked in the capacity of Whole Time Director in a Non-Banking Microfinance Company overseeing HR, training, operations, product development and general administration.

Her areas of interest include Project management and public health research into health economics.

At LVPEI, she is the Network Associate Director and heads the operations of Community Eye Care component besides public health project management. She is also the faculty for eye care program management modules and is working as a project manager for ENGINE project, sponsored by the Queens University, Belfast funded by the Wellcome Trust.
