The L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) is looking to hire a “Manager – Design and Video” to work with the Communications team.

Job title

Job title: Manager – Design and Video

Nature of employment: Full-time, with six months probation. Approx. Salary is around INR one lakh per month

Reporting to: Head of Communications

Location: Kallam Anji Reddy campus, L V Prasad Eye Institute, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad-500034

Work hours: Monday-Saturday; 8.30am to 5.30pm

Job summary
  • The Design Manager will manage, build and deliver on LVPEI’s design, graphics, photo and video needs to support the communications function. They will manage a small team of designers with layout, video-editing and design experience.
Key responsibilities
In collaboration with the Head of Communications, the Design Manager will deliver on the following:
  • Develop LVPEI’s design house-style and function as its custodian
  • Lead the design development for LVPEI’s centres, events, projects, and campaign
  • Develop design templates for print projects like accessible reports, internal documents, PPT slide-decks and other such material in LVPEI house-style to spec.
  • Develop and ensure high-quality signage, graphics and design templates across the LVPEI network
  • Develop designs and design templates for web and social media projects across the LVPEI website, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other such sites in LVPEI house-style to spec.
  • Design or develop designs for graphic inputs across media
  • Manage the process of developing individual, custom pieces of content from design templates by working with team of designers, photo and video editors
  • Manage relationship with external design agencies and ensure material supplied is to LVPEI’s best interests
  • Support wider communications team during events or other high-pressure projects
  • Build reporting and feedback processes to ensure the team is performing to expectations.
Experience
  • 10 years of high-quality design experience, including managing a team of designers
  • 10 years of strong technical experience with various design tools and software like the Adobe Creative Suite, including PhotoShop, Illustrator etc.
  • Strong portfolio of designs that can be attributed to the individual, and to teamwork.

Eye Donation Counselor

Nature of Job

Responsible for approaching donor families and obtaining consent for donation prior to recovery of tissue and coordinating timely and effective corneal recovery.

Required skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all Eye Bank and hospital staff.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with peers while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Able to interpret and follow written and oral direction.
  • Able to effectively persuade individuals and groups.
  • Must be able to work long hours, nights and Sundays/holidays when required
  • Personal commitment to eye and organ donation.
Qualification
  • Intermediate/ Degree preferably from science back round (like MLT, BiPC, GNM, BSC )
Location
Hyderabad (must be open to travel to other locations too)

Supervisor - Human Resources

Nature of Job

LV Prasad Eye Institute is seeking to employ individuals in Human Resource Department.

Job Description

  • Managing Payroll related legal & statutory Compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF & Minimum wages)
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of various statutory forms and returns related to ESI, EPF, Gratuity, labour welfare fund etc.
  • Ensure legal payments such as Provident Fund, ESI, Professional Tax and all other government/statutory compliance as applicable are paid in time and the reports pertaining to them are submitted on time.
Experience
  • Should have 2-3 years of relevant experience in handling all the statutory matters (PF, ESI. P. Tax, LWF, Gratuity, Minimum Wages etc.) in particular. Preferably a male candidate with a two wheeler and a valid driving license.
Others
  • Should be enthusiastic and good in communications both written and verbal (English, Hindi & Telugu)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Assistant - Operating Room

Nature of Job

LV Prasad Eye Institute is seeking to employ Assistants in Operating Room.

Job Description

  • To sterilize the packs for next morning and to keep everything ready for next day's work.
  • Should know the sterilization recall policy
  • To check the linen every evening- like supervising the number of each item of linen brought by the washer man and give the soiled linen to the washer man and maintain the register.
  • To make sure that unsterile things are not available in the sterile zone
Qualification
  • Intermediate preferably from science back round (like MLT, BiPC)
Experience
  • Not mandatory
