The main aim of the community eye care projects is to provide holistic eye care services on an on-going basis throughout the LVPEI network. We have till now successfully completed many projects aimed at different components of eye care service delivery at primary and secondary level. few projects are ongoing at different locations in the state of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Odisha (Secondary Centres and Vision Centres). Taking into consideration the major barriers of accessibility and affordability of eye care services among the unreached communities, the service delivery projects aim towards bringing quality eye care services within the reach of the communities.
