Shalini Singh completed her basic medical education from JSS Medical College,Mysore followed by her residency in Ophthalmology from the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and pursued her DNB from the Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelvelli. After successful completion of her Fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment from LVPEI Hyderabad, Dr Singh joined as a Consultant in Refractive surgery, Cornea and Anterior Segment and Cataract services.
Her main areas of clinical interest include corneal endothelial diseases, corneal dystrophy, advances in laser refractive surgery and lamellar keratoplasty.
A member of All India & Telangana Ophthalmological Societies and Cornea society of India, Dr Singh has to her credit, several publications published in reputed national and international journals and has given presentations in various conferences.
Besides clinical work, she likes travelling and enjoys sports especially swimming and is a trained classical dancer.
