Dr Sowmya Andole completed her medical education from Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal, Telangana followed by postgraduate training in Ophthalmology and Senior Residency in Glaucoma from Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital under Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad. She then pursued her long-term fellowship in glaucoma at the L V Prasad Eye Institute and currently working as a consultant in Department of Glaucoma and Cataract Services at LVPEI
Dr Sowmya Andole is a lifetime member of the Glaucoma Society of India (GSI). Her main areas of clinical interests are management of secondary glaucomas and minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries. Her work has been presented in national conferences and published in international journals.
