Dr Srikant K Sahu

Srikant Kumar Sahu received his medical education from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Odisha and completed his postgraduate training from VSS Medical College Burla, Sambalpur, Odisha. Later he did his cataract and anterior segment fellowship from L V Prasad Eye Institute. An accomplished cataract surgeon with extensive experience in corneal lamellar transplants and refractive surgeries, he recently finished one-year advanced training in corneal research from Schepens Eye Research Institute, University of Harvard, USA.

Dr Sahu specializes in treating allergic eye diseases including children eye allergies like vernal keratoconjunctivitis. His research interest lies in the ocular microbiome, the pathogenesis of vernal keratoconjunctivitis and corneal infections. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals and is involved in several institutional and multi-centric clinical trials.
