G Neelaveni

G Neelaveni has been associated with the Institute for Vision Rehabilitation for the past 12 years. While initially holding a Bachelor's degree in B.Sc Biotechnology, her deep passion to assist children and adults with vision impairment inspired her to pursue professional qualifications in the field. Consequently, she obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) specializing in visual impairment. Additionally, she has completed certificate courses in rehabilitation management, including Braille, from the Hadley School for the Blind in Illinois, USA. Her primary areas of expertise encompass counseling and guidance, educational rehabilitation, training in independent living skills, community-based rehabilitation, early intervention for children with developmental delays and other disabilities, as well as low vision rehabilitation.
