Saumya Ranjan Parida

Saumya Ranjan Parida did his Bachelor degree in optometry from L V Prasad Eye Institute, Bhubaneswar. Subsequently, he completed short term fellowship program in Paediatric, Strabismus and Neuro-optometry at LVPEI, Hyderabad. Currently he is working as a Consultant Optometrist contributing here services to the Binocular vision, Amblyopia and Paediatric ophthalmology department. In mean time also completed Genetic Educator Training course from UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Involved in numerous research activities and participated in various workshops like several national conferences. He also completed Master Degree in Optometry from Singhania University He is actively involved in teaching faculty for optometry interns and other ongoing educational programs at MTC campus. He has a keen interest in basic research lie in role of optometrist for managing accommodative strabismus and clinical optometry. His core areas of interest include Paediatric Optometry, Amblyopia, Binocular vision and Orthoptics.
